About Ed Barthell, MD

Dr. Edward Barthell is Medical Director Americas, where he supports sales and product strategy and works with existing customers to improve outcomes associated with use of Caradigm products and services. Dr. Barthell is a board certified emergency physician who has long been an advocate for improving health information sharing across institutional boundaries and for the use of analytics to support population health. Prior to his work at Caradigm, Dr. Barthell served a wide variety of physician executive roles, founded a successful software company, and has been a leader in multiple large scale informatics initiatives.
